Everyone agreed by the end of the show that romance is essential. Keeping romance in any relationship can be challenging. Keeping the romance in a kink relationship can be especially challenging at times given the D/s dynamic or the misconceptions surrounding pain and pleasure.
Communication Is Key. Right from the start you both need to be clear and define what romance means to you, how important is it, what responsibility you will take in creating it and maintaining it in your relationship.
Talk as much as you can and share yourself openly. Respect yourself and your lover, its the best way to keep the love and magic in your relationship. Be interested! Ask them how they feel and really mean it.
